RECOVER UP TO 30% OF ESCAPE HEAT
In a traditional fireplace connection, a large part of the energy is taken away with exhaust gases outside the chimney. One of the ways to reduce the exhaust gas temperature and thus increase the efficiency of the fireplace is to use storage disks, which can recover up to 30% of the escaping heat.
Storage discs force the exhaust gases to spiral, thus extending their path and removing heat from them. Thanks to densely arranged radiators, they ensure good heat exchange with the air flowing through them. Ultimately, more heat is used to heat the rooms. This increases the thermal efficiency of the heating system.
The discs are made of cast iron, which is characterized by strong accumulation and heat conduction properties. They are mounted on fireplace inserts using specially made brackets. Protection against possible movement of the discs is their weight, which ensures the tightness of the air flow channels and a special system of inlets.
